Create a bot for paid memberships and monetise your chats

Create your own Telegram bot and connect it to TGmembership

"Bots are third-party applications that run inside Telegram."

TGmembership allows you to create a bot and connect it to our system.

You can give your bot name, photo and description of your choice. Once you connect your bot to TGmembership, you can benefit from the automate membership control we offer. The bot will let your members join your chats and will kick them out when their memberships expire.

The greatest advantage of using TGmembership is that it takes away the pressure of managing your members away. Dealing with payments manually, sending reminders and removing members from your groups will all be soon forgotten. The business with paid memberships requires a lot of time for its effective management. TGmembership can change this. Focus on what you do best and let us take care of the rest.

BotFather will help you create new bots and change settings for existing ones. BotFather will help you create new bots and change settings for existing ones.

  1. 1

    Create a bot.

To create a bot on Telegram, you need to contact the BotFather, which is essentially a bot used to create other bots. You will see a list of commands on your screen like /newbot, /token, /revoke, etc.. The one we need is /newbot (or revoke if you're going to use an existing bot). You can either click on it or type it manually.

  2. 2

    Name your bot.

Give it a friendly name and a unique, short and memorable username. Your bot's name is what will appear in the chat list, the list of participants in a chat, etc. The username is a short name that is used when mentioning, as well as the t.me links pointing to your bot. The username must be between 5 and 32 characters long and it's case insensitive. It may only include Latin characters, numbers, and underscores. Your bot's username must end in 'bot'. For example, tgmembership_bot

  3. 3

    Connect your bot to TGmembership.

With the above steps done, you'll be given your bot's API token. The token is a string along the lines of 110201543:AAHdqTcvCH1vGWJxfSeofSAs0K5PALDsaw that is required to authorise the bot and send requests to the Bot API. To avoid confusion, this API token is what connects TGmembership to a specific bot - the one you just created. You can either forward the message with it to TGmembership or just copy/paste it. You probably don't want to share this token with anyone else as it is what's needed to control your bot. It's best if you keep it secret.

  4. 4

    Monetise your chats.

Congratulations! You have successfully added your bot to the TGmembership's platform. Now, let's monetise your chats. Start by adding a channel, a group or a plan. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need help creating or setting up your bot.
