Create a Telegram bot for paid memberships.

Paid subscriptions made simple.

Create your own Telegram bot and connect it to TGmembership

"Bots are third-party applications that run inside Telegram."

TGmembership allows you to create a Telegram bot and connect it to our system. You can start selling subscriptions in a matter of minutes.

You can give your bot name, photo and description of your choice. Once you connect your bot to TGmembership, you can benefit from our automate membership control. The bot will let your members join your chats and will kick them out when their memberships expire.

The greatest advantage of using TGmembership is that it takes away the pressure of managing your members away. Dealing with payments manually, sending reminders and removing members from your groups will all be soon forgotten. The business with paid memberships requires a lot of time for its effective management. TGmembership can change this. Focus on what you do best and let us take care of the rest.

  1. 1

    Create a Telegram bot.

To create a Telegram bot, you need to contact the BotFather, which is essentially a bot used to create other bots. You will see a list of commands on your screen like /newbot, /token, /revoke, etc.. The one we need is /newbot (or revoke if you're going to use an existing bot). You can either click on it or type it manually.

  2. 2

    Give it a name.

Give it a friendly name and a unique, short and memorable username. Your bot's name is what will appear in the chat list, the list of participants in a chat, etc. The username is a short name that is used when mentioning, as well as the links pointing to your bot. The username must be between 5 and 32 characters long and it's case insensitive. It may only include Latin characters, numbers, and underscores. Your bot's username must end in 'bot'. For example, tgmembership_bot

  3. 3

    Connect it to TGmembership.

With the above steps done, you'll be given your bot's API token. The token is a string along the lines of 123456:ABC-DEF1234ghIkl-zyx57W2v1u123ew11 that is required to authorise the bot and send requests to the Bot API. To avoid confusion, this API token is what connects TGmembership to a specific bot - the one you just created. You can either forward the message with it to TGmembership or just copy/paste it. You probably don't want to share this token with anyone else as it is what's needed to control your bot. It's best if you keep it secret.

  4. 4

Sell subscriptions for your channels and groups.

Congratulations! You have successfully added your bot to the TGmembership's platform. Now it's time to monetise your Telegram chats. Start by adding a channel or group or a subscription plan. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need help creating or setting up your bot.
